This about says it all. Hate the sin, love the sinner. And yes, what's good for the goose is good for the gander--for example it's wrong to condemn all Dem.s because Clinton had sex with Lewinsky. However, please note that Haggard is acknowledging the wrong in what he has done. There are some who deny any wrongdoing, or who even deny that there is any wrong in what they are doing. You don't have to be perfect, but you do need to confess it when you're not!
